The needs of our community continue to grow at an alarming rate.
  • In 2009-2010, SHIP had over 1,200 people on our wait lists
  • In 2010-2011, SHIP had almost 1,200 people on our wait lists

Our current human and financial resources cannot keep pace with this increase. We count on the support of our partners and our funders to enable us to work toward keeping pace with demands.
With the help of our landlords, our partner agencies and our funders, SHIP will continue to do everything we can to address the needs of our clients and their families. These efforts will include seeking out additional housing opportunities, partnerships and new sources of funding.

1Head Lease: By holding the head lease to a housing unit, SHIP becomes the tenant of the building. With the landlord’s full knowledge and approval, we then rent out that unit to one of our clients.
