For over two decades, SHIP has been a well-respected provider of safe and affordable high-quality housing programs and services. Every aspect of our housing management follows the principles of Healthy Housing ™ :

• Upgrading and renovating newly purchased buildings
• Developing strong relationships with building owners and landlords
• Ensuring appropriate housing close to public transportation routes, local shopping and recreational facilities
• Maintaining quality standards and ongoing maintenance of our properties
• Providing transitional and ongoing independent living support
• Educating our clients regarding their rights and obligations as tenants

Properly maintained, quality housing is a fundamental component of Healthy Housing ™. At SHIP, we believe that our clients deserve housing and services that best meet their needs and help to achieve successful outcomes.

Although year after year we have successfully provided affordable housing to clients, hundreds remain on our waiting lists due to acute housing shortages. In our quest for additional housing opportunities to meet demands, SHIP continues to take advantage of new development initiatives and to seek out landlords interested in supporting our efforts.
