When your donation arrives at SHIP, it is immediately deposited in an account and monitored by the SHIP Foundation. The Board of Directors of the SHIP Foundation carefully considers all client requests for funding. They make the final decision regarding the best possible use for your donation.

In the past, these monies have been allocated toward the pursuit of artistic, educational, and career opportunities for our clients. Recent examples include an individual who, through the generous help of donations, attained his fitness instructor certification. Another client received money to purchase art supplies he could not afford. Yet another grateful recipient used the funds to photocopy a book he is in the process of getting published.
